When Chris and I planned a winter wedding, we immediately planned on lots of snow. We started looking up and pinning tons of pictures with snowy backdrops. As December rolled around, there was one thing missing, SNOW! 
Of course, I was feeling sad about the whole situation, when Jordana suggested taking we take a trip to the local ski hill, Mt. La Crosse, to get some snow photos. My wedding dream of snow was restored! Well… sure enough, it was so warm in December that not even Mt. La Crosse had enough snow yet.
Although there was no snow, everything on December 12 was still PERFECT! Jordana and Wes did an amazing job of capturing our memories throughout the day. They made Chris and I and our wedding party feel totally at ease.
Even though we didn’t get ‘snowy’ pictures, we were able to get tons of great shots – including some in industrial areas, bars and a special picture with the surprise fire truck (my cousin’s young son accidentally pulled the fire alarm at the reception). We will always look back at December 12th as being perfect, no matter what the weather!

We met Tiffany at Wedding World 2015 and when we found out she & Chris were planning a December 12th wedding, we were SUPER excited for some snowy wedding photos… you’d think you could count on snow mid-December in Wisconsin…. apparently mother nature has a scene of humor. Tiffany & Chris didn’t get the snowy photos they had hoped for but their amazing winter wedding was perfect just the way it was! We absolutely LOVED working with Tiffany and Chris, they are extremely sweet and their “go-with the flow” attitude helped us capture some fun, unique wedding images we know they will enjoy for years to come! Congratulations Tiffany and Chris- your winter wedding was Beautiful!!!
