Megan & Matt | Alfalfa field Wedding | Minnesota City, MN
Megan and Matt’s wedding took place in the alfalfa field of Megan’s 98Year old grandfather’s farm. I was told that for many days prior to the wedding, family gathered to mow, clean, construct and decorate. The alfalfa field was mowed into a ceremony site and the aisle was lined with specialty burlap for Megan and Matt to make their way to the alter. After the ceremony guests enjoyed the scenery and a specialty craft beer, wine and spirits tent executed by this fun loving couple. As an added bonus of the reception fun, an antique tractor pulled guests in a hay ride-toure around the farm. Guests rode, drank and celebrated the night away with Megan & Matt.
A little note from the photographer: Megan’s grandfather’s farm has been in her family for a very long time. Megan got ready in the old farm house, in the childhood bedroom, of her great-grandmother. Photos of Megan’s ancestors are still hung on the walls in the home. As an added nod to her family Megan was able to wear Pearls from her grandmother and a hair broach from her great grandmother… special details that she will cherish as part of her special wedding day memories. I LOVE that Megan had this opportunity to have such special family details in her day.
