Not too Hot, partly sunny, a beautiful August afternoon… this describes Megan and Mason’s August wedding day to a “T”. The two started off their wedding day by getting ready at The Charmant Hotel where they enjoyed the beautiful boutique space and an array of amazing lunch treats from the restaurant. Not wanting to rush through the day, Megan and Mason took time to share a first look and private session in riverside park. As they walked along together and took a few photos they talked about how excited they were to be a married couple in less than 2 hours. Their wedding ceremony took place at their church in Onalaska and afterwards the newlyweds boarded their limo bus to celebrate. Their arrival to the reception was an exciting grand entrance. The cargill room at Waterfront look amazing and was an elegant setting for drinks and dinner into the night.
A little note from the photographer: When I first arrive on a wedding day and start to photograph the little details, I like to ask the couples if they gave each other a morning note or gift… I am always blown away by the thoughtfulness of these gifts or kind words that couples have for one another. Megan and Mason’s gifts to each other were awesome- Custom engraved cufflinks from the bride and beautiful pieces of jewelry from the groom AND both with a heartfelt special note. I LOVE to see these special gifts, and special little ways the couple signs their card…. Its THE perfect start to a wonderful wedding day.
