Katie & Brent | Labor day weekend September Wedding | Sparta, WI
Katie and Brent’s Labor day weekend wedding day was kept traditional in the way that Brent did NOT get to see Katie prior to their ceremony. When Katie and her dad stepped into the doorway for the church, Brent’s face said it all; HE was beyond joy. The wedding ceremony was beautiful; Brent made a special promise to Katie’s daughter that brought everyone at the alter to tears for happiness. This little family was finally “official”. After becoming husband and wife, Katie and Brent were whisked off, with the wedding party, for photos and limo bus cocktails. When the limo arrived at Stoney creek inn for cocktail hour and the reception guests were ready to get the party started. Congratulations K&B!!!
A little note from the photographer: Katie and Brent did NOT want to see one another before the ceremony, but- they let me position them prior, for a “non-look-first look” (I am keeping these photos off the blog and private for the couple). This moment for Brent and Katie, prior to their ceremony, was definitely a special one. Katie’s hands were shaking from nerves and Brent did his best to calm her down with some private words. Little moments like this one are my favorite parts of a wedding day… and I will always remember the love this couple showed each other, with a hand squeeze and the look on each of their faces as they anticipated saying “i do”, just moments before their wedding ceremony.
