Emily + Joe 6.19.20

Home is where the heart is…

In the home E & J built together, with their nearest and dearest, Emily and Joe wed. Their wedding day may have looked differently than originally planned, but they are equally as happy to call each other husband and wife. Instead of the big guest list and chairs for all to witness the ceremony, the couple was joined virtually by friends and family on laptops and cell phones. Instead of the big Dinner and dancing into the night, they shared a meal with immediate family and danced together in their living room, it was magical. Becoming husband and wife in their home and creating these intimate memories on their wedding day, goes to show….. home is where Emily and Joe’s heart is.

Details of the Day:
Home is where the heart is, married.
Home is where the heart is- family.
Home is where the heart is, newlywed.
Home is where the heart is, Dancing
Note from the Photographer:

The couple’s getting married in 2020 are facing more obstacles, tough decisions and changes-on-the-fly than anyone thought possible. As a photographer and friend to many of these couples I see and feel the frustrations first hand. I would like to encourage couple’s planning a wedding, to stay positive! Your wedding plan will be wonderful no matter the adjustments you make!

This amazing couple chose to make location & size adjustments to their ceremony vision, and plan to host a large party next year, for their full guest list. Congratulations on your marriage Emily and Joe! I can not wait to document the rest of your wedding celebration when it is safer to gather in greater numbers!
