Diane + Doug 1.11.20

With a sixpence in her shoe, Diane and Doug said “I DO”.

Diane and Doug’s January wedding was intimate, laid-back and heartfelt. The couple started their relationship as long distance pen pals but years of friendship budded into a beautiful love. Once the two knew they were meant to be together, Diane and Doug couldn’t stay long distance and the wedding planning began. When I asked the couple why they selected a January wedding date, they both agreed hot weather was not at the top of their list and they both loved snow. Leave it to Wisconsin to have zero snow on the ground for their wedding day, but delivered the coldest temperature of the whole winter. Even the below zero temps couldn’t stop these two from their desired outdoor wedding photos. Diane and Doug’s love for each other concurred the cold. With a sixpence in her shoe, Diane and Doug said “I DO”.

Note from the Photographer:

Diane and Doug are a couple of cuties! They remind me of giddy sweethearts and were SO much fun to photograph. The bride has one of the best laughs that I have ever witnessed. I LOVE that these two braved the cold for their photos (especially once the sun set). Cold day-winter photos always have a special look and I think the outdoor coloring in winter is extra romantic for a wedding. My sincerest congratulations to these happy newlyweds.
