The Proposal:
It was a beautiful summer evening in August 2015; Aaron asked me to go for a hike after work. We hiked to the top of Brady’s Bluff in Perrot Park; Trempealeau, WI.(Enjoying the outdoors is one of our favorite things to do together!). At the top of the bluff, we couldn’t help but notice how gorgeous the sunset was, the bluff, river and tree’s all looked beautiful. Aaron and I sat atop a large rock, enjoying the view and talking about a recent vacation we had taken together. I started to notice Aaron was acting differently. We climbed down from our rock, to start the hike back to the car… suddenly Aaron grabbed me by the waist, and with nervous palms and tear filled eyes, he asked me to marry him!…. Obviously I said “YES!”
The beginning of our Planning AND choosing our Wedding Photographer:
I couldn’t wait to start planning! Aaron and I set a date for June 24, 2016. One of the first things we wanted to check off of our Wedding list, was our photographer. The pictures of our wedding day are going to be the most important, tangible items we can take with us…forever. Aaron and I met with Jordana in her La Crosse studio, we knew almost immediately that she was “the one”. She was so professional, passionate about her work; very clear about what she had to offer, and to top it all off, she is a packers fan (GO PACK GO)!
Aaron and I hired Jordana Snyder Photography to be our wedding photographer. We scheduled a fall engagement session with Jordana. We were pretty anxious for our engagement session, because we had never been professionally photographed together. Jordana made us feel comfortable about having our photos taken and we had a blast! We went to a neat outdoor setting where we took some gorgeous scenery photos and we ended our session at a cute local ice-cream shop. We took some super cute pictures while eating ice cream…these photos will be used on our dessert table because we plan to have serve specialty ice cream and yummy cake at our reception. Our engagement session was so much fun!
