Annie & Caleb | Ridge top July Wedding | La Crosse, WI
Annie and Caleb’s ridge top wedding was a perfectly planned affair. Caleb, Annie and family spend many hours grooming, cleaning, painting and planning to decorate the farm on top of the ridge, for couples big day. When July 28th arrived everything was perfect! A wonderfully manicured lawn was the canvas for bright white wooden folding chairs and an alter beneath a huge old tree. The Corn field was the backdrop and the bright red farm buildings offered pops of color to the scenery. Annie and Caleb’s personalized wedding ceremony was delivered by the bride’s brother and afterwards guests joint the newly weds on the farm house front steps for a “well wishes” champagne toast, then headed to The Waterfront for the evening celebration and dance.
A little note from the photographer: The couple REALLY enjoys the music of : Soul singer/ Songwriter Noah Guthrie and for many months leading up to the wedding the couple wrote Noah letters. The letters told Noah that they were getting married and that they would LOVE it, if he “happened to be in the La Crosse area”, he should stop by and celebrate with them…. The couple didn’t hear back from Noah… or so that bride thought… Caleb keep the secret from Annie and revealed to her (Right before their first dance), that Noah DID respond… and even though he couldn’t make it to their celebration he wanted to do something special for them. Noah Guthrie sent the couple a personalized video (Which they couple danced too for their first dance), of a dedicated performance to the couple if his song: Adore. Annie was on cloud nine! This was a super cool dedication from Noah- VERY COOL!
