When choosing a photo location for their Minnesota wedding… Farm land that has been in the brides’s family, for over 4 generations, was a no brainer. Adam and Kelly hunt on this land, plan to live on this land someday and Adam even proposed to Kelly on this land. After a beautiful first look & private portrait session around different parts of the farm, Kelly and Adam traveled to the church where they were wed. After the ceremony their fur-child “Champ” arrived, looking dapper in his bow tie and tail wagging’, to posed for a few photos with the new Mr & Mrs. After Champ departed the newlyweds and their energetic entourage made way to the reception. Upon arrival, speeches, dinning and dancing took the night away…. And oh what fun they had!

A little note from the photographer: Favorite detail about Kelly and Adam’s wedding day was their sentimental bond to the location chosen for their wedding day portraits. I love when a couple has a special request such as this… the location could not have been more perfect for these two. We are SO HAPPY that Kelly & Adam told us about this land and had so many wonderful area’s picked out and prepped for their photos. When talking with your wedding photographer, remember to bring up special locations and don’t be afraid to share stories about why it is particularly important… even if timing doesn’t allow for the exact location request we can give you a suggestion about a location that may give a similar vibe. In Kelly and Adam’s case we could not be more excited that they let us capture their wedding day portraits at a location so near to their hearts.
