Brittney & Mike | Romantic June Wedding | La Crosse, WI
From the moment I met Brittney & Mike, I just knew that they were the sweetest couple ever, and their sweet-romantic wedding day just affirms that fact. The day was balmy with a chance for rain, but, as Brittney and Mike shared their first look and a kiss, the weather details seemed very unimportant. This couple enjoyed their private photo session together and even had their Fur-baby, Bailey, join in on the fun. Mike (being the romantic guy that he is), took a moment to read Brittney a special set of vows he had written for her ears only, she cried and laughed and it was beautiful. When it came time for Wedding party and family photos the time seemed to fly by and then the ceremony was upon them. In another flash of time Mr. & Mrs. R had enjoyed cake, their first dance together and were enjoying the club vibe on the dance floor. The Wedding day flew by, but Brittney and Mike held one another and thoroughly enjoyed the day together. Congratulations you two love birds!
A little note from the photographer: I wanted to share a special dress shopping story about how Brittney found her Wedding dress. Brittney has a very good friend (Kasey), who is a bridal consultant at The Wedding Tree, Kasey was able to help Brittney hand select her perfect wedding dress… after the wedding I spoke with Kasey about the process and how she was able to help her friend find “THE ONE” for her big day. Kasey said the moment she saw the perfect dress arrive to the store, she knew it would be “the one” for Brittney. On the day of Brittney’s dress appointment- Brittney took one look at “the dress” and bypassed it, trying on a few other selections first. Being an expert in the bridal dress industry, Kasey persuaded Brittney to slip into “the dress” (still knowing this would be the perfect dress for her friend, if Brittney would just try it on)… Once in “The dress”, Brittney and her mom both got glimmers of tears in their eyes and finally saw what Kasey already knew… This dress was “The one”. When I asked Kasey to think back about this moment and how she felt as a consultant helping her friend with such an important dress decision, Kasey said “I am so honored to have helped my friend find her perfect dress, helping Brittney and Mike with all of their wedding attire details meant the world to me!”. As Brittney and Mike’s Wedding Photographer, I LOVE hearing stories like this… planning a wedding is a lot of work but every detail has a special story or memory for a friend, family member or industry expert involved… this is why it is SO important to enjoy every part of the process and trust the experts; As Kasey proved, the experts really do know best.
