Anneliese & Richie | May Wedding | La Crosse, WI
Anneliese and Richie love everything outdoors and their choice of ceremony location was the natural fit. Inside the Myrick Park Eco Center overlooking the marsh, friends and family witnessed Anneliese and Richie’s heartfelt vows. The rain pitter-pattered down outdoors but it didn’t dampen the mood one bit. When it came time to join the reception, the grand entrance set the mood for the evening- “time to dance the night away”. The rain let up and guests were able to enjoy the outdoors view of the river on Pettibone Resort’s back deck.
A little note from the photographer: Rain is a tricky subject on a wedding day; Obviously no bride says “man, I hope it rains on my wedding day”… but, I ask my couples to embrace whatever mother nature dishes out and don’t lets a few rain drops ruin your day. Anneliese and Richie did just that, they grabbed their umbrellas and played in the rain together. One of my favorite memories from their day was: When it came time to venture into the marsh for some cool photos, Anneliese threw the train of her beautiful lace dress up and over her arm, grabbed her drink and took off down the gravel trail, dodging puddles, with a smile. This couple was an absolute joy to work with and we wish them the most happy life together as husband and wife, Congratulations Anneliese & Richie!!!
